Hello everyone! Let’s talk beef tallow.
Andrews’ preferred cooking fat is beef tallow. You all know this from watching his videos and reading his posts. Not only is it healthier for you, the flavor of cooking or frying with beef tallow is next level!
HERE IS A VIDEO ON HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN BEEF TALLOW FOR COOKING!
I love tallow for my skin. I know, I know, it sounds weird but trust me on this one.
I adore Clara & Fritz Tallow products. I have been using these products for over a year, not only for myself but for our entire family. Our son Jack has eczema that can flare up and become painful due to his drier skin. Since I started applying the unscented tallow balm on him, he has not had a flare up ONCE!
My personal favorites are:
-Tallow Based Oil Cleanser
-Counterpane Tallow Night Cream
-Unscented Whipped Tallow
-Pink Grapefruit Tallow Sugar Scrub
-Tallow Based Lip Balm
Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of these wonderful products. And knowing that you are getting skin loving benefits without all of the toxic chemicals that are in traditional skincare is a major plus.
Why Beef Tallow?
Tallow is rich in fatty acids, vitamins A, D, E, and K & B12 and contains anti-inflammatory properties. Tallow balm is compatible with the oils already naturally found on our skin, making it the perfect choice for clean skin care. These vitamins help to nourish, repair, and rejuvenate the skin, promoting a youthful glow.
Skin Hydration: Tallow closely mimics the natural oils our skin produces, which means it can penetrate deeply and hydrate from within. This makes it an excellent moisturizer, especially for dry or compromised skin.
Natural Anti-Aging: The high concentration of vitamins A and E found in tallow aids in reducing fine lines, wrinkles, and sagging skin. Vitamin A promotes collagen production, while Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that helps protect the skin from environmental stressors.
Non-Comedogenic Benefits: Despite being an oil, tallow is non-comedogenic, meaning it won’t clog pores, which is often a concern when using oils in skincare. It helps balance oil production while still keeping skin smooth and hydrated.
