I get a lot of requests for sauces that are mayo-free. So here is the ultimate mix of flavors: smokey, earthy, salty, sweet - the best sandwich-loving sauce.
BUT you can add this to anything. I have used this on freshly grilled veggies, baked potato, grilled meats, rice, heck even in my ice cream.
Ingredients:
1 cup plain yogurt
1 cup chopped roasted peppers (jarred or freshly roasted)
1 tablespoon white miso paste
1 tablespoon freshly chopped dill
1 tablespoon chives fresh
1 tablespoon honey
2 tablespoon capers - roughly chopped
2 tablespoon red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon freshly minced garlic (about 2 small cloves)
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon freshly cracked pepper
*optional - 1 tablespoon hot sauce
Instructions:
Combine in a blender and enjoy.
