I posted some shrimp cocktail on X (link) and I got a handful of requests for the best cocktail sauce.
Well, here it is. My version is simple but has a few elements to give it that extra flavor.
Ingredients:
1 1/4 cup ketchup
3 tablespoons prepared horseradish
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
1 lemon zested and juiced
1 lime juiced
1 teaspoon granulated garlic
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
If you want it kicked up, add more horseradish and hot sauce
Looks great! I have typically used Heinz Chili sauce instead of ketchup. Is that redundant?
After perusing the ingredients I believe it could have amazing flavor. I just don’t eat seafood. Perhaps dipping for chicken or turkey... or pot stickers?
