had to close down the noise division factory (x) and find some creators that inspire. Can i ask- is gruel the last name real? is it like a dennis being more likely to be dentists ?

Chef, is the 8 minute slow roast based on a steak that's been sitting out and allowed to come closer to room temperature, or a steak straight from the icebox. Is there an internal temperature that you're looking for before you move to the sear?

I didn’t think there could ever be another, better, Chef Gruel method of cooking a steak! I was so wrong!!! Now, can the same method & timing be used for finishing on the grill rather than on the stove??? I can never get the timing right in the grill… medium rare…

I really enjoy your posts. I guarantee this method produces the best steak ever and is foolproof from novice to pro, and I used to be a sous vide believer.
